COLOMBIA FNC WOMEN’S MUJERES ANTIOQUIA EXCELSO
Mujeres de Giraldo is a growing group that was created as a result of the initiative of Yessica Parra, a young coffee sourcing professional. With her roots in farming and a driver for development, Yessica’s main aim is to support and motivate Colombian women to become agents of change, but more importantly to give them the right acknowledgement for the crucial role they play in coffee production in Colombia.
Mujeres de Giraldo coffee includes mostly Castillo and Caturra varieties, these coffee trees grow at an altitude range between 1900-2200 m.a.s.l. The coffee is produced by women, who come from the towns surrounding Giraldo in Antioquia.
The process of this coffee is washed and wet fermented.
This beautifully complex microlot coffee is naturally sweet and smooth, typical notes of vanilla and milk chocolate, quirky notes of pineberry and a round, full finish.
